Hofner 456 1960s

We're glad to offer you this outstanding example of german lutherie, rich tones, good volume, terrific looks awaiting to be played. This Höfner 456 from the early 1960s is in overall very good to excellent condition. This archtop has a strong accoustic voice thats nicely balanced and sits well in the mix. A one point a loaded Framus pickguard was added. The Framus single coil provides you with warm P90 like sounds naturally very well suited for Jazz and Blues sounds. This guitar is was played by the original owner until his passing some 25 years ago, then held in custody by his cousin who kept it in a closet until she sold it to us.
